November 2016
Fall is here!

Hi folks ---
Welcome to the November issue of CPDR e-News — and Autumn!

Welcome to the November issue of CPDR e-News! Ahhh, November…. such a thankful month! On this Veteran’s Day, we honor all our military veterans – past and present – and thank them for their service to our great nation.

We salute YOU on Veteran’s Day! We also wish you a very thankful and Happy Thanksgiving --- family-filled and friend-filled (and just maybe a little food-filled too!). All of us at CPDR are counting the many blessings in our lives – and you are one of them!

Want to help the next guy with prostate cancer?

Androgen Deprivation Therapy - Book

This will be the 4th year in which we man a table at the Retiree Appreciation Days sponsored by the military installations in our area. Our purpose is to provide information about prostate cancer and advocate for prostate cancer awareness. Our goal is to help the next guy who is dealing with prostate cancer, fearing prostate cancer or a recurrence of prostate cancer.

If you would like to “give back” in some way, this is a great opportunity! Please help us get the word out about prostate cancer, CPDR, and the Us TOO support groups.

If you would like to help man a table at Fort Myer, Fort Meade, or Joint Base Andrews, please contact Gene Slebrch who is the “go to” coordinator for these community outreach events. (gslebrch@yahoo.com; 703-978-0337).
