And in Health - Book

Recommend the book "And in Health. A Guide for Couples Facing Cancer Together" by Dan Shapiro, PhD (clinical psychologist).

The book " gives advice, in short lessons, on the main areas of concern or conflict that can come from life with cancer-from diagnosis to treatment and life post-treatment". He is a cancer survivor married to a cancer survivor who is also an oncology nurse practitioner.

A recurring theme of the book is how to share the journey as a team -- how to help the other and the relationship while under the throes of cancer.

It offers useful, helpful tools in an easy to read manner; practical and grounded.

Included are chapters dealing with a new cancer diagnosis, sexuality, making peace with dependence, and end of life.
